VISITING: ROME / FLORENCE / VENICE

 

Day 1 ROME

Arrival in Rome. Transfer to the hotel by private car. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2 ROME

Breakfast. In the morning visit of the Eternal city, you will live and feel this beautiful city through its picturesque little streets, discovering some of the most famous places of the world like the Pantheon, with its impressive dome and its “Oculus” (opening on the top of the dome), Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi and the Spanish Steps.

Stop in the Piazza Colonna, where you will see the column of Emperor Marco Aurelio, considered by the Romans the real city center. We continue to Campo di Fiori that will give an idea of ​​the lively atmosphere that reigns in one of the most famous and traditional piazzas of Rome.

We end with a visit to the Fountain of the Four Rivers, sculpted by Bernini, rising majestically in the center of Piazza Navona. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the city or to do some shopping, try a typical meal or simply walk through its streets and beautiful bridges. Overnight.

Day 3 ROME – FLORENCE (train)

Breakfast. Departure by train to Florence the Renaissance city. Enjoy the journey admiring the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany. Arrive in Florence.

The balance of the day will be free to explore the city and enjoy its gastronomy. Overnight.

Day 4 FLORENCE – VENICE (train)

Breakfast. In the morning panoramic sightseeing tour to learn the history and the monuments of Florence. We visit San Lorenzo neighborhood and learn the story of the powerful Medici family who ruled the city during the Renaissance era. We visit the famous Medici chapels, the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Duomo (outside view).

We end by exploring the medieval district of the city, Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio. In the afternoon departure by train to Venice, the beautiful city of the canals. Arrive in Venice. Balance of the day free to shop and walk around the city. Overnight.

Day 5 VENICE

Breakfast. In the morning panoramic city sightseeing tour to discover some of Venice’s most iconic attractions: St. Mark’s Basilica and  Square, the Doge’s Palace (outside view), Rialto Bridge, as well as La Fenice Theater. Venice historic center has been declared World Heritage Site by Unesco. The afternoon will be free to explore on our own or to attend an optional excursion, such as a gondola ride or a visit of the city by night. Overnight.

Day 6 VENICE – ROME (train)

Breakfast.

For passengers doing the 6-day tour ROME-VENICE, transfer to the local airport and end of services.

Passengers who continue their journey will take the train to Rome. Arrive Rome. Balance of the day free. Overnight.

Day 7 ROME

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in time for the departure of our flight back home.
