ITINERARY

Day 1 ROME

Arrival in Rome. Transfer to the hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2 ROME

Breakfast. Hotel pickup for the “Discovering Rome” walking tour: a 3-hours walking tour including the most famous sites of the city. In a single morning you will travel through centuries of history and discover the main attractions. Starting in Largo Argentina, we visit Campo de ’Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Afternoon at leisure, Overnight.

Day 3 ROME – FLORENCE (train)

Breakfast. Departure by train to Florence the Renaissance city. Enjoy the journey admiring the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany. Arrive in Florence. The balance of the day will be free to explore the city and enjoy its gastronomy. Overnight.

Day 4 FLORENCE

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning sightseeing city tour starting with a panoramic view from Piazzale Michelangelo. The tour continues through the heart of Florence to the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery, where we admire the original David by Michelangelo, the unfinished “Prisoners”, “San Matteo” and other masterpieces. The Tour continues through the streets of Florence, reaching the Duomo, where the guide will show you the Giotto Bell Tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors, among which, the famous Door of Paradise and, finally, the Duomo of Florence. Afternoon free. Overnight. Note: the Academy of Fine Arts is closed on Mondays.

Day 5 FLORENCE – VENICE (train)

Breakfast. Departure by train to Venice, the Serenissima. Arrive in Florence. The balance of the day will be free to explore the city. Overnight.

Day 6 VENICE

Breakfast. In the morning, guided walking tour including the most important monuments (outside only) of Venice: Piazza San Marco with its monuments, Santa Maria Formosa, Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, Marco Polo’s house and the Malibran theater. Return to San Marco through the Mercerie area, a vital link between Rialto and San Marco and the main street for shopping.The afternoon will be free to explore on our own or to attend an optional excursion, such as a gondola ride or a visit of the city by night. Overnight.

Day 7 VENICE

Breakfast. Transfer to the local airport in time for the departure.
